For Latter-day Saints with Questions
Asking questions is important.
They put us on the path to building faith.
This site encourages the importance of asking gospel questions, but to also recognize the decaying nature of doubt — not only from a gospel perspective, but in every aspect of life. Questions and doubts are two very different things, and we often confuse one for the other. Questions move us forward. Doubt destroys.
The journey, in six steps
Each page leads to the next. Take them in order if you can. There’s no test at the end, and no need to finish in one sitting.
- 01 — Start HereWhatever brought you here, you’re welcome.
Validation, the shape faith questions usually take, and what to do first.
- 02 — Questions & DoubtsThe distinction the rest of this site rests on.
Questions and doubts are not the same thing. They look alike. They arrive together. We confuse them constantly — and they do opposite things to us. Learn to tell them apart.
- 03 — Primary QuestionsThe questions that carry the most weight.
The “Stand Forever” framework, the divine method of learning, and the right questions asked in the right order.
- 04 — Secondary QuestionsThe harder topics, met honestly.
The questions that often bring people here — placed in proportion, met as questions rather than metabolized as doubts, with links to what the Church itself has published.
- 05 — Building FaithThe daily practice that keeps questions as questions.
Daily practices for holding faith in place. A witness journal, specific commitments, a faith action tracker.
- 06 — ResourcesWhere to read further.
